I have just had for the first time in my life (at 48) a case of herpes simple keratitis. It's been absolute hell!. I want the vaccine and support this cause. There are many like me that have herpes simplex type 1 in your eye called keratitis dendratic eye. And it's the numer 1 cause of blindness in America and other countries. It's painful; It's devastating. I got this working with kids at a preschool. There are kids with HSV-1 and children cross contaminate. So, it is a health hazard for safety and other children. I feel the government needs to make this a priority. I get break outs all the time and it has damaged my cornea. We need more support and awarness. This is highly contagious, even if you are asyntomatic.

Hi everyone! I hope someone can help with my situation, I desperately looking for some type of guidance. For the last 4 moths i been tested 6 different time blood, igg mig , swap and a biopsy for my blisters on my pubic area. I been in a dermatologist, and two other doctors and including ER and all of them when they see me they all said is HSV2 but when the tests come back are negative and they all they i need more time for my body to create antivirus for the test to detect it.
